Strange Horizons pulls players into a world where science meets the supernatural. Dr. Eleanor Thompson, a genius scientist at the Institute of Quantum Physics Research, creates the Dimensional Resonator. It is a device that opens a portal to the mysterious “World of Light,” a place tied to the afterlife. But her breakthrough takes a dangerous turn when creatures from another dimension cross into our world, setting off a crisis no one saw coming.
With the arrival of the new trailer, players can now pledge for exclusive Alpha tester access when the game enters Closed Alpha in Q2 2025. Supporters will get a Steam key to try the Alpha and contribute to shaping the future of Strange Horizons. Moreover, content creators can now sign up for a private Alpha launching in late February 2025.
