Stray Kids Becomes 1st Artist In Billboard 200 History To Debut At No. 1 With First 6 Entries

Stray Kids has set an impressive new record on the Billboard 200!

On December 22 local time, Billboard announced that Stray Kids’ new SKZHOP HIPTAPE “合 (HOP)” had debuted at No. 1 on its Top 200 Albums chart, making it their sixth consecutive album to top the chart following “ODDINARY,” “MAXIDENT,” “★★★★★ (5-STAR),” “ROCK-STAR,” and “ATE.”

Stray Kids has now become the first artist in the entire history of the Billboard 200—which first began publishing on a regular basis in March 1956—to have their first six entries on the chart debut at No. 1.

Additionally, Stray Kids is now tied with BTS, Linkin Park, and Dave Matthews Band for the most No. 1 albums of any group in the 21st century (since 2000),

According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “合 (HOP)” earned a total of 187,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on December 19. The album’s total score consisted of 176,000 traditional album sales—making it the No. 1 best-selling album of the week in the United States—and 10,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which translates to 14.83 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week. “合 (HOP)” also racked up 1,000 track equivalent album (TEA) units in its first week.

Congratulations to Stray Kids on their historic achievement!
