Production on DC Studios’ “Supergirl” film is continuing in the UK right now and what appears to be photos and a video have emerged from the set.
Milly Alcock takes on the title role in the film and her (or her stunt double/stand-in) can be seen in the photos and video atop an alien tank. They show her in a comic-accurate costume complete with a blue top, gold belt, red skirt and red knee-high boots.
In the video she’s interacting with a man on the tank in much darker gear and holding a massive axe. It’s not clear who that person is, though some have already speculated it’s Jason Momoa’s Lobo – but the footage is shot from such a distance it’s impossible to tell.
Filming has been taking place at Leavesden Studios in the UK. Alcock stars as Kara Zor-El, the cousin of Superman, in a story in which she and Krypto the Superdog celebrate her 21st birthday with a trip across the galaxy.
On another planet they meet a young noble and honorable warrior named Ruthye (Eve Ridley) and the pair set out to take down a ruthless swordsman and archer named Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts) who has hurt Krypto and killed Ruthye’s parents.
David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham also star as Kara’s parents. The new film will be released in cinemas on June 26th 2026.
