Talking Point: Are You Buying Kingdom Come Deliverance 2?

The reviews have been really good

We mentioned here at Pure Xbox earlier this week how Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 was shaping up to be a Game of the Year contender following its excellent reviews – so we’re keen to see if you’ll be picking it up in the near future!

This is obviously the sequel to the 2018 original, and we reckon it’s a “brutal and brilliant medieval epic” that absolutely improves upon KCD1 – in fact, we’re going to have to find a spot for it in our Best Xbox RPGs list very soon!

Here’s a sample of what we said in our Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 review here at Pure Xbox:

“With top-notch writing and voice acting, one of the most convincingly real worlds we’ve ever roleplayed in, and an absolutely filthy line in humour, violence (and foul language), this is every bit the sequel fans of Henry’s first outing will have been hoping for.”

There’s a bit of a caveat to all this though, and it’s that the game is far from a casual experience. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is a difficult and time-stealing RPG that you’ll really need to become immersed in if you want to get the most out of it, and it’s not an exaggeration to say that it might take you tens of hours before you get to that point!

In other words, KCD2 is one of those amazing games that definitely isn’t for everyone. That’s ultimately why we’re so intrigued to hear whether you’re planning to buy it – along with your early impressions if you have picked it up already.
