Welcome to the final weekend of 2024! There’s not much going on in the world of Xbox right now, but don’t forget you can spend some Christmas money on the Xbox Countdown Sale 2024 – it’s still live until Thursday, January 2nd!

Here’s what we’re playing this weekend:

I inevitably received some Xbox credit for Christmas, and I’m still trying to figure out what to do with it! I’ve actually got my eye on the 2024 GOTY candidate Balatro, but I’m just not sure whether it’s going to be my kind of game…

Perhaps it’s a sign that I should just stick to what I know – Baldur’s Gate 3 is still calling to me, and I’m actually in the mood to play some Hogwarts Legacy too. Can I say how much I’m enjoying my (relatively new) Switch OLED at the moment as well? It’s been great to carry that thing around with me during the hectic holiday period.
