Tamannaah Bhatia, who made a memorable impact with her brief role in Rajinikanth’s blockbuster Jailer, is reportedly set to reunite with the superstar in its sequel, Jailer 2. Her character in the first installment was pivotal to the film’s massive success.
Directed by Nelson and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, Jailer turned into a cinematic sensation, amassing over ₹600 crores at the box office. Produced by Sun Pictures, the movie solidified Rajinikanth’s status as a reigning icon of Indian cinema.
Currently, Rajinikanth is filming Coolie, helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Once completed, he is expected to shift focus to Jailer 2, with Nelson returning as director. Reports suggest that pre-production for the sequel has commenced, including location scouting.
Adding to the excitement, it is rumored that Tamannaah will take on a more significant role in the sequel. Additionally, celebrated Telugu actress Srinidhi Shetty, known for her performance in the KGF series, may join the ensemble cast.
With shooting expected to kick off in March next year, Jailer 2 is already generating buzz among fans, promising another thrilling cinematic experience.
