Warner Bros. Pictures has premiered the official teaser trailer for its new “Supergirl” movie.
Australian actress Milly Alcock (“House of the Dragon”) takes on the role of Kara Zor-El/Supergirl in the film which is based on the “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” limited series comic by Tom King.
In the film, Supergirl (Alcock) travels across the galaxy to celebrate her 21st birthday with Krypto the Superdog. Along the way, she meets a young woman named Ruthye and winds up on a murderous quest for revenge.
Also starring are Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Jason Momoa as Lobo, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze and Alice Hewkin as a Sklarian Raider.
The trailer, set mostly to Blondie’s “Call Me,” the clip shows many of the main characters including Momoa’s Lobo and Schoenaerts’s Krem.
Ana Nogueira penned the script while Craig Gillespie directs. The film is slated to release on June 26th 2026.
