Right now, everybody is talking about Star Actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter’s forthcoming wedding. All eyes are on the 17th of April 2025 in Lagos. A lot of people want to attend Priscy and Jux’s traditional wedding in Lagos.
Iyabo Ojo is very happy about it. She is excited. How did Jux win Iyabo Ojo’s support to marry her daughter? From various interviews conducted so far, Iyabo Ojo said even though she always emphasised the preference to marry early to her then 23 years old daughter, Priscy, her daughter would mostly wave the idea aside, but when she told her she has found one, but from far away Tanzania, she said she would pray about it but went straight to Google everything about him.
She expressed concerns about dating a Musician, but Priscy explained how decent he is. And his family too. Then when she spoke with him, he convinced her and wanted to come down to meet the Ojo family immediately. He eventually arrived on his 34th birthday on September 1st, 2024. Jux has spoken about Priscy a lot on his pages, to Tanzanian Media and so on; he has always said he loves her very much. He told local Tanzanian Media platforms how he met and fell in love with Priscy first, but his family and everyone around him loves her if not more.
He recently told another Media member how he cannot let her go, as she is everything he wants in a woman. And he made the decision to marry her, no one else made it for him.
Jux had also talked about how proud he is of Priscy, being very hardworking and successful at just 23 ( 2024). And his Mum and Sister on meeting her, knew she is good wife material.
Wedding announcements for Jux and Priscy got many talking but were received with joy by their teeming fans. The Couple themselves got public support from many, including the Jux family and the Ojo family. The Mkambala have been thrown into the media space more than they ever experienced before but so far, have managed it very well.
So far, Jux has released two songs, one the very popular, Ololufe mi, a song dedicated to Priscy, and a collaboration with the Tanzanian, East African powerhouse, Diamond Platinumz, who Jux recently referred to as his best friend. The second song, Si Mimi, he sang on their Traditional Wedding night in Tanzania in February, which got him emotional and teary as he professed his love to Priscy.
The JP Wedding was first announced as 4-Part affair by Iyabo Ojo a few months ago, but as finally seen, it is now a 6-part affair, and three have been done in Tanzania in February 2025.

There was also Toyin Abraham (Iyabo’s Colleague, friend and Priscy’s mother in Movies), Enioluwa( Priscy’s Best friend, fellow super Influencer).
It is now a 6-part wedding, with 3 already done in Tanzania, it remains another 3. Two will be in Lagos in April( Engagement and Church blessing and one in Tanzania (a Destination Wedding Reception, to round off what has been tagged #jp2025) but Jux and Priscy were off to Saudi Arabia, Jeddah for Priscy’s 24th birthday celebration. Her birthday was on 13th March and Jux whisked her off to the stunning location. in the desert of Saudi Arabia.
During the Islamic Wedding in February, Priscy had been given an Islamic name, Hadiza. While making his speech, Jux, whose tumultuous past relationships are well documented on the Internet, said he came to realise, with Priscy, that love is not that difficult just maybe he has just not found the one made for him. He said that as a Singer who mostly sings about what he goes through, Priscy makes love songs easier for him to sing now.

The Wedding preparations are in top gear now, and the Olive green and Gold theme mentioned by Iyabo has been seen a few times online by those who posted the olive green lace material, one of the Aso Ebi. The Wedding buzz is definitely on, and Iyabo Ojo movie, Labake Olododo, which premieres on 24th March and is shown at the Cinemas from 28th of March, is adding to the anticipation of JP2025, coming up in April.
The love story that began with a meeting in Kigali, East Africa, barely ten months ago, is now the centre story for what is now popularly tagged East meets West union, an African Royal wedding.
The Lagos wedding is on 17th April 2025. It is titled AFRICAN Royalty: East Meets West. It is hashtagged #JP2025. The Ojo and Mkambala families have invited their guests to the Engagement and Traditional Wedding of their beloved children. The Aso Ebi details is also out. For Ladies.
