“The Boys” S5 Set Photos Tease Dark Future

Set photos from the fifth and final season of Amazon Prime’s “The Boys” have gone online and showcased a glimpse of an America now under the control of Homelander and his puppet President.

Set photos posted on Reddit (via CBM) suggest internment camps have been built around the country with the one seen on set dubbed ‘Freedom Camp 47’. The slogan ‘Freedom Sets You Free’ is also seen.

It’s likely this will be where the incarcerated team members are being held following their arrest at the end of the show’s fourth season.

Filming on the last season began very recently and is expected to continue well into the first half of 2025 ahead of a release on the streamer in 2026.

The show’s fourth season earlier this year drew varied reactions as some of the audience finally caught up with the show’s political leanings while the show pushed boundaries in some decidedly uncomfortable ways – drawing criticism for some of its content.

Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jensen Ackles, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry are all expected back for the new season.

Head over to X to check out some of the photos.
