Welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! I, @zombiepie, am honored to be your host as we look back at the site-related news and best community creations from the past week!
If you had issues with episode #177 of the Voicemail Dump Truck showing up on the premium feed, that issue should be fixed. If you are using Pocket Casts and it’s still not there, use the usual workaround where you copy the RSS feed URL, then add “&foo=bar” at the end of the URL, you can somehow fix or reset your RSS Feed on the app.
If you had issues connecting your Premium Giant Bomb account to your Discord account, the bot that does that should be fixed and if you have any issues with it in the future, please tag @Howling Techie on the Giant Bomb Discord.
Chuck should be back soon after enjoying his well-deserved honeymoon. Speaking of which, if you have yet to send him your congratulations for his recent wedding, feel free to do so on BlueSky.
Speaking of staff-related congratulatory news, congrats to Niki Grayson for getting a new job over at iam8bit!
The gift that keeps on giving, Drew’s status as a meme whenever they try to raise money for charity, has reached new heights with NBC News, SFGate, and news.com.au all writing reports and front-page articles about him and his efforts to raise money for Bike MS, which you can still donate to using this link! Huge props to him already raising almost $70K!
Finally, as mentioned last week, after a hiatus, the Giant Bombathon is back! That’s right, the Giant Bomb staff are planning to come together in the same room with a smattering of guests for your entertainment! This will happen near the end of the month and be a 24 hour stream.
What’s the impetus for a new Bombathon? Well, the staff have thought that the time was ripe for a genuine effort to get people signed up for Premium or an overall fundraiser for the site’s future. If you want to help, spread the word and maybe even ask friends that you know that enjoy games or gaming to make an account on the site so you can gift them a premium subscription. For those of you with maxed out Premium subs, there’s always the Ko-Fi page that allows you to go above and beyond the call of duty while helping to insure the future of the site.

So, Giant Bomb is returning to the wild and wacky world of Darkest of Days? If that’s the case, who on the staff do you think will be able to pull off the best David McCullough impression?
