The Development of Echoes of the Stars Is Going “Very Well”

Alchimia Studios has revealed that Echoes of the Stars is still in development, but it is progressing “very well.” The developers are working on enemies after a major revamp of the core code, making refinement smoother and faster while enhancing their “personality.” They have just finished over 10 new enemy graphics, which the studio will be sharing soon. So, stay tuned for more updates in the future.

In Echoes of the Stars, Rin and Eldric embark on an epic fantasy-meets-sci-fi adventure meeting various characters along the way. Their journey explores themes of fate, gods, and humanity while leading through a vibrant, hand-painted world. From dense forests to icy peaks and bustling towns, every corner holds something new. Nearly every building can be entered, objects can be broken, and light puzzles await discovery. Travel is made easy aboard the Papalonium, a trusty trade ship that serves as your mobile base.

Switch between Eldric, the powerful Battle-Mage, and Rin, the agile Archer, at any time. Smash objects, chain together flashy combos, and unlock abilities through tech trees. Alongside combat, a variety of mini-games bring extra fun—make sandwiches, race raptors, ride mine carts, and hunt for hidden treasures. With full voice acting, the characters truly come to life. The soundtrack, filled with nostalgic melodies, evokes the magic of classic RPGs, making every moment feel immersive and unforgettable.

Echoes of the Stars will be coming out on PC via Steam in Q4 2025.
