Take a Look at the Tides of Annihilation
Eclipse Glow Games has unveiled a new look at its upcoming action-adventure Tides of Annihilation during the Xbox Partner Preview. The four-minute gameplay trailer delivers the most detailed showcase yet of the game’s frenetic, spectral combat featuring three playable Knights, along with a sweeping view of its shifting, atmospheric world. The studio also confirmed that the title will support Xbox Play Anywhere in the future.
The trailer shifts the setting from the ruins of London to the mysterious Otherworld realm of Avalon through a reality-bending transition that echoes dream-layered storytelling. Captured entirely with in-game footage, the video highlights the Dual Frontline Battle system. It also offers the first close look at the Mirror Realm, a fractured dimension built from overlapping mirror realities.
The action reaches its peak as Gwendolyn joins forces with Lamorak, a special ally in this encounter, to confront the shape-shifting boss Tyronoe. The sequence demonstrates how players can control two characters during major battles, weaving in and out of mirrored spaces to deliver powerful, coordinated attacks.
Speaking about the trailer, lead game producer Kun Fu described Tides of Annihilation as a reimagining of the Arthurian legend shaped by themes of courage, loyalty, and heroism. He noted that the newly revealed footage marks an early glimpse into Gwendolyn’s journey. And it also sets the stage for what the studio sees as a bold step forward for the genre.
