Connections: Sports Edition is a fun challenge every day. I do better with certain topics than with others. Today, I was intrigued with the purple category, which is legendarily strange and sometimes a real stumper. I started to see a connection between three words — and there’s a hint there. But I was stymied for the fourth word. Here’s a big hint: Have you ever bowled three consecutive strikes? Did you know there’s a name for that term, and kind of a weird one? If you can find that term in the puzzle, you’ve got the purple category.
