UNDERWARD is a cooperative horror game for 1 to 4 players, where you step into the role of investigator on a dangerous mission. Your task is to locate test subjects sealed in bio-capsules and transport them to elevators to meet collection quotas. Success unlocks deeper levels of the game’s multi-layered map, but failure comes at a cost. With permadeath in play, every move matters, making each descent a tense and unforgiving challenge.
An abandoned underground hospital twists and shifts with every run, hiding deadly traps and a relentless Arachne Nurse. This towering monster can block entire hallways, its limbs reinforced with salvaged debris, making it tough to take down head-on. Outsmarting it requires teamwork such as flanking and striking from behind. Gather useful items, decide whether to stick with your team or go it alone, and keep moving deeper into the unknown.
