In a surprising turn of events, Chinese robotics company Unitree’s highly anticipated humanoid robots, the H1 and G1, have been temporarily removed from China’s e-commerce platform JD.com‘s online platform just several hours after their debut. The robots launched on February 11 were taken down on February 12, according to customer service representatives.
The H1 model was only available in limited quantities, with just one unit listed for sale. customer service representatives stated that the products are no longer available for individual purchase, but interested organizations can contact Unitree directly for sales inquiries.
The Unitree H1, priced at CNY650,000 (US$90,000), was first unveiled in August 2023. This advanced humanoid robot boasts impressive specifications, including a height of 1,520 mm, a thigh and calf length of 400 mm each, and arm lengths of 338 mm.
With a walking speed exceeding 1.5m/s and a potential top speed of over 5m/s, the H1 is designed for both agility and strength. It features a 15Ah battery with a maximum voltage of 67.2V, ensuring extended operational periods.

The H1 gained significant attention after its performance at the 2025 Spring Festival Gala, where it showcased its ability to perform traditional Chinese dance moves, including twisting a handkerchief and performing a backflip.
The H1 also features 360-degree panoramic depth perception, enabling it to navigate complex environments with ease, making it suitable for industrial and service applications.
The Unitree G1, priced at CNY99,000 (US$13,700), was released in May 2024. Described as a “humanoid intelligent entity and AI avatar,” the G1 stands at 127 cm tall and weighs around 35 kg. It is equipped with 23 to 43 joint motors, with a maximum torque of 120N・m.
The G1 supports imitation and reinforcement learning, allowing it to evolve and improve its capabilities through AI-driven updates continuously.
In addition to the humanoid robots, Unitree also offers the Go2 robotic dog, starting at CNY9,997 (US$1,380), along with various accessories. The Go2 series has been well-received for its versatility and affordability, making it a popular choice among tech enthusiasts.
