Vijay’s Blockbuster Sachin Re-releases This Summer for Fans

The production team has announced that the film ‘Sachin’ will be re-released during the summer holidays. Starring Vijay, the movie was preparing for re-release, but the exact date was not revealed. Now, producer Thanu has confirmed on his X platform that ‘Sachin’ will hit the screens during the summer break.

Originally released on April 14, 2005, the film marks its 20th anniversary this year. Fans are eagerly looking forward to its return to theaters. This follows the successful re-release of another Vijay starrer, ‘Ghilli,’ in 2024, which was a massive success.

‘Sachin’ was immensely popular for its songs, comedy sequences, and engaging storyline. The film, directed by the late director Mahendran’s son, John, featured Vijay, Genelia, Bipasha Basu, Vadivelu, and Thadi Balaji in key roles. The music, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, was a huge hit among youngsters.
