Actor Vijay’s film ‘Sachien’ was re-released in theatres on April 18, and it opened with housefull shows across all cinemas. The movie was technically enhanced for the new version, and Vijay’s name card was also updated. It was re-released throughout Tamil Nadu by producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu. A special screening of the upgraded film was arranged for journalists ahead of the public release.

They expect the movie to earn significantly over the first three days following its release.
Fans celebrated the re-release in grand fashion—putting up large cut-outs, pouring milk over them, and creating festival-like scenes at theatres. Videos of these celebrations have gone viral online. Thanks to this reception, industry experts believe that ‘Sachien’ could become one of the most successful re-releases after Vijay’s earlier re-release, ‘Ghilli’.
