A performance of the Headlights song as the late-night show continues its return from suspension

Alex G was on last night’s episode Jimmy Kimmel Live! He and his band performed “Oranges,” from his new album, Headlights. Watch it happen below.

After being suspended by ABC last week, Jimmy Kimmel Live! made its return to the air this past Tuesday night, September 23. The network and its parent company, the Walt Disney Company, had come under pressure from the Trump administration following a joke that Jimmy Kimmel made about the alleged shooter of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.

Following the release of Headlights, in July, Alex G gave the album’s lead single, “Afterlife,” its live debut on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. He’s currently on tour in North America with Nilüfer Yanya, and will kick off a run of dates across Europe and the United Kingdom in November.
