FIFTY FIFTY showed off their talents and K-pop knowledge on the latest episode of “Weekly Idol”!
The girl group appeared as guests on the October 9 episode of the MBC every 1 variety show, where they performed their new title track “SOS” and played various games together with the MCs.
For the show’s karaoke battle, the five members split up into two teams: Keena, Chanelle Moon, and Athena formed one team, while Yewon and Hana made up the other team.
During the first round, Yewon and Hana sang Wanna One’s “Energetic,” while Keena, Chanelle Moon, and Athena covered BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love.”
In the second round, Yewon and Hana performed (G)I-DLE’s “LATATA,” with Keena, Chanelle Moon, and Athena singing BTS’s “I NEED U.”
Finally, with the permission of the two-member team, the MCs gave the three-member team one last chance to beat the other team’s score—and Keena, Chanelle Moon, and Athena made their final attempt to the tune of BLACKPINK’s “Playing With Fire.”
At another point in the episode, FIFTY FIFTY had to guess K-pop songs after watching one of the show’s writers attempt to dance to the choreography while wearing a horse mask. Whenever they guessed a title correctly, the idols had to dance to a snippet of the song, resulting in a couple of impromptu covers.
