Watch: Kim Hye Ja Ignores Son Suk Ku’s Pleas Not To Get Kicked Out Of Heaven And Sent To Hell In “Heavenly Ever After” Teaser

JTBC has shared a new sneak peek of its upcoming drama “Heavenly Ever After”!

“Heavenly Ever After” is a transcendent romance starring Kim Hye Ja as Lee Hae Sook, a woman who reunites with her husband in heaven after death.

In the newly released teaser, Lee Hae Sook shakes things up in heaven after her arrival. From teaching the pastor (Ryu Deok Hwan) how to stand in a crooked, rebellious pose to influencing the behavior of Som Yi (Han Ji Min), an innocent soul who has lost all her memories, it’s clear that Lee Hae Sook has already had a major impact on the residents of heaven.

As a result, Lee Hae Sook catches the eye of the director of the Heaven Support Center (Chun Ho Jin), who asks her pointedly, “It seems like heaven is a lot more fun than before, doesn’t it? I think a lot of changes began with you.”

While Lee Hae Sook starts to worry that she might have been sent to heaven by mistake, the director keeps a close eye on her behavior using heaven’s extensive surveillance system. Eventually, her unusual actions lead to purple “grapes” falling from the sky before her. The pastor urgently warns her, “You know that if you receive one more of these grapes, you’re really going to be sent to hell, right?”

The pastor isn’t the only one who’s worried: Lee Hae Sook’s husband Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku)—who, unlike his wife, chooses to appear as the 30-something version of himself in heaven—repeatedly reminds her of the danger she faces. As he desperately stops Lee Hae Sook from doing something, Go Nak Joon exclaims, “You can’t, you can’t! The grapes! if you receive more, you’ll go to hell.” Later, when he sees that she’s received one more, he looks at her reproachfully.

However, Lee Hae Sook ignores her husband’s pleas and ultimately winds up receiving a final grape. As soon as it falls, Lee Hae Sook finds herself in a dark place that is vastly different from heaven, surrounded by terrified people.
