WEi’s agency has announced that Kim Jun Seo will be halting group activities.
On May 9, the agency released the following notice:

First of all, we express gratitude to RUi who always show support and warm love for WEi.
This is a notice regarding Kim Jun Seo’s upcoming scheduled activities.
We are informing you that Kim Jun Seo is temporarily halting WEi activities due to personal reasons.
We ask for the generous understanding of RUi who we have caused concern to with this sudden notice.
Please continue to show lots of love and interest for Kim Jun Seo and WEi.

Following the announcement, news outlet TENASIA reported on May 10 that Kim Jun Seo will be participating in the upcoming survival program “BOYS II PLANET,” the new season of “Boys Planet.” The report has yet to be confirmed.
Kim Jun Seo previously participated in the survival program “Under Nineteen” and ranked in the top nine, debuting with the final group “1THE9” in 2019. Following the project group’s disbandment in 2020, Kim Jun Seo debuted as a member of WEi later in the year. Most recently, he made his acting debut through the BL drama “Secret Relationships” this year.
