Big things come in small packages
Roguelike tactics and tower defence gameplay
Colourful heroes with interesting skills
Now in pre-registration
Habby is at it again with Wittle Defender, the studio’s aptly titled new adventure that’s now open for pre-registration. Described as a “mix of tower defence, roguelike, and card strategy”, this interesting little mash-up will have you auto-battling your way through foes as the titular tiny defender, with a variety of skills and tactics you can collect and upgrade as you go along.
As you form your own squad of heroes to keep the waves of monsters at bay, you’ll also be able to uncover treasures across colourful dungeons, with unpredictable skills popping up to spice up the gameplay. Every hero from the Blazing Archer to the Thunder Pharaoh will bring their own kit to battle, so it’s up to you to figure out the best tactics to dominate your foes.
Based on the screenshots online, it does seem like it’s going to be an incredibly fun and casual romp that’s ideal for mobile’s pick-up-and-play nature, especially given the portrait orientation. I don’t doubt Habby’s expertise in that area, of course, especially since I enjoyed playing Capybara Go so darn much.
If you’re curious about that (and you should be!), we’ve got Capybara Go codes and even a tier list to guide you on your journey.
In the meantime, if you’re eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Wittle Defender on the App Store and on Google Play. It’s free-to-play with in-app purchases, with an expected release date of June 12th according to the App Store listing. Do take that with a grain of salt though, as these things often change without prior notice.
