Xiaomi Official Website Integrates POCO Brand

On October 13, Xiaomi‘s sub-brand POCO announced that it will close its global website (po.co) on December 31, 2024, including sites in the UK, France, and globally. However, the POCO brand will not disappear. Starting from October 21, 2024, POCO’s products, services, and after-sales support will be transferred to Xiaomi‘s official website (mi.com/global).

All customer service, purchase records, loyalty programs (such as POCO Points) will be transferred to the Xiaomi platform. Existing coupons will also be reissued before December 12, 2024. Users do not need to take any action, all historical orders, logistics information and reviews will automatically migrate to Xiaomi‘s system.

Although Xiaomi previously positioned POCO as an independent brand, the closure of the po.co domain name seems to indicate that business under the Xiaomi ecosystem is being streamlined. Nevertheless, the POCO brand will still exist within the Xiaomi architecture and product supply and after-sales support will continue to be provided. However, the standalone POCO store application will not be spared and will cease operation after December 31.

Currently operating under poco.in domain in India is expected not to be affected.

This move appears to be part of a broader strategy by Xiaomi to integrate its sub-brands into a unified digital platform. For POCO users, this transition should be seamless but marks an important step for the brand under Xiaomi‘s leadership.、
