On December 25th, XPeng Aeroht announced that its “Land Aircraft Carrier” Modular Flying Car will debut at CES 2025 on January 7th, 2025. XPeng Aeroht previously stated that the “Land Aircraft Carrier” is planned to complete its first batch of deliveries in the first quarter of 2026, with a single unit price not exceeding 2 million yuan.
The flying car adopts a globally pioneering on-board automatic separation and combination mechanism. Users can achieve automatic separation or combination of land-based body and flying body within 5 minutes through one-key operation. The appearance of the car is designed in a cyber mecha style, requiring only a Class C driver’s license for ground driving. As the world’s only car that can accommodate an “aircraft,” it is also the only two-seater aircraft that can be placed in a car trunk, with a unique market positioning.
The Land Aircraft Carrier measures 5.5 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and 2 meters in height. It uses a universal 800V silicon carbide high-voltage range extender platform, with a range of over 1000 kilometers. It can charge the aircraft while driving or parked, supporting 5-6 flights.
The modular aircraft section is equipped with a 270-degree panoramic two-person cockpit, featuring a six-propeller six-axis dual-channel design. The main structure and rotor are made of carbon fiber material and can be folded for storage. After landing, through the automatic driving function of the land-based body and the separation mechanism, it precisely docks and combines with the flying body.
