XPeng Motors is actively expanding its Robotaxi team, currently recruiting for multiple positions with high salaries, with the highest annual salary approaching one million yuan. This recruitment is mainly targeting employees with experience in leading global Robotaxi companies, including positions such as operations director and senior operations manager.
The role of Robotaxi Operations Director at XPeng Motors is mainly responsible for the full-stack system construction of Robotaxi operation business, promoting the overall implementation of Robotaxi travel services. Applicants for this position are required to have served in leading global Robotaxi companies, participated in actual unmanned Robotaxi operations and full-stack autonomous driving operation system construction, and have management experience leading teams of 20-50 people. It is understood that the salary range for this position is 40-60K·15 months, with an annual salary reaching nearly one million yuan.
He Xiaopeng, Chairman of XPeng Motors, has stated that 2026 will be a turning point for the Robotaxi industry but that the industry has not yet reached a mature stage in terms of capabilities, regulations, and commercial closed-loop systems. He also mentioned that XPeng will launch competitive Robotaxi products in 2026 but will not get involved in operational aspects.
It’s worth noting that both Tesla and XPeng will hold new product launch events on October 10th – Tesla will introduce its Robotaxi product while XPeng will showcase the global debut of their new model P7+.
