This leak suggests we’re going to see some giant sets
A recent leak on the Legoleak subreddit shares the U.S. pricing and piece count for the upcoming Lego/Pokémon collaboration.
The leak suggests that these sets will go on sale on March 1, 2026, but they will likely be revealed before then. Lego Insiders will get to buy the sets on Feburary 27, 2026.
The most extensive set will consist of 6,838 pieces and cost US$649 (C$894). There’s no mention of what this will be, but if I had to guess based on that price and piece count, it might be a life-sized Pokémon, probably Pikachu. However, I’d love it if it were some kind of Pokémon Colosseum-style playset. As a point of comparison, the $1,049 Lego Millennium Falcon has 7,541 pieces.
There are two other sets. One has 2,050 pieces for US$200 (C$275) and 587 pieces for US$60 (C$82). All three of the sets are rated to be 18+, so expect them to be more adult-oriented. This makes me think we’re going to be seeing more sets designed to live as shelf art, like the retro gaming Lego sets we’ve seen so far.
Lego announced its Pokémon partnership in March, so it’s seemingly taken a year to plan out the upcoming sets. The deal was originally described as a multi-year partnership, so I’d expect more sets to follow—likely something aimed at younger audiences.
